The end of life air handling units have been replaced with a modular fan array, complete with new Cooling Coils, VFD’s and 60/100 Amp Bucket Breakers and disconnects each dedicated to its own fan. This is beneficial because if one fan breaks down the other 5 will pick up the load and still allow for repairs/maintenance to be performed without turning off the air conditioning. Something the old air handler units were lacking. This new system is also quieter even operating at 100% capacity.

This job required the manufacturing of custom wood skids to help spread the weight of the new and old equipment as it was moved across the roof. And the complete removal and reinstall of the louvres and automated dampers for each phase to move the equipment inside the mechanical rooms.

Phase 1 was completed in 22 days in Summer 2022.
Phase 2 in the late fall of 2022 was completed in 21 days.
