Project Background

AHC is proud to have completed construction on the crown jewel of the CASTL Biomanufacturing Training Facilities. This high-profile project involved the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) and the Canadian Alliance for Skills and Training in Life Sciences (CASTL), in partnership with the Province of BC and the Government of Canada.

The completed facility is a step towards revolutionizing life sciences training in British Columbia with a first-of-its-kind BC Biomanufacturing Training Facility. The facility is furnished with labs and a classroom designed to provide the best possible biomanufacturing training. The facility replicates the manufacturing methods used to produce vaccinations, viral vectors, monoclonal antibodies, and other cGMP biopharmaceutical products.
